I actually am a lottery winner; in 1999, I won the Powerball before going back to college to study journalism and broadcast news. I’ve since worked on various productions before launching this podcast and interviewing fascinating people, including other lottery winners!
The lottery news stories in this video include:
1) In Arkansas a woman recently won a half of a million dollars. She’s quoted as saying, “earlier this year, I wrote that I was going to win the lottery after learning about manifestation from a friend. When I realized I wasn’t dreaming, I started screaming and running down the street!” She spent $45 dollars on lottery tickets after noticing an advertisement of this jackpot hitting new records. One of her tickets ended up scoring $520,000 dollars.
2) In London, Ontario, Canada a man won over 11 million in May of 2022 on the Lotto 649 jackpot. He said that it felt like a dream and that it took a few days after winning before he could eat and sleep normally again.
3) A Raleigh, North Carolina man won $2 million dollars on a scratch ticket on Father’s Day! On June, 19th, 2022, this man purchased a scratcher as a Father’s Day gift to himself. He is quoted saying, “I was kind of delirious to tell you the truth. It still hasn’t really hit me yet.”
4) Another person in NC recently won $1 million dollars from the lottery after following a gut feeling. A man purchased a $25 Spectacular Riches scratch ticket after having a hunch. He works as a heating and air conditioning technician and just happened to be at his boss’s house when he scratched the ticket. He told his boss, “Oh my god. You’re not going to believe this; I just won a million dollars!”
5) A man in South Carolina in the USA won the lottery after being inspired by a television show. The man used a strategy he watched on TLC’s ‘Lottery Changed My Life’ program. The strategy included spending $25 per week on the lottery for 3 months. In the 1st month, he won $500, but in the 7th week, he scored $100,000 dollars!
6) In Wisconsin, there were 4 winning lottery tickets on the same day! On July 3rd of 2022, 4 people won the Wisconsin’s lottery SuperCash!. Each ticket was worth $350,000 dollars each. The odds of winning this top prize were 1:1,631,312.

7) Then in Michigan recently, there were 3, 1- million-dollar scratch tickets all sold on the same day. The lucky day was June 21st, 2022. All three winners chose to remain anonymous.

8) In Pickering, Canada, a 75-year-old man won $100,000 from Lotto Max after having a dream about it. He is quoted as saying, “ I had a dream I won $100,000 a few days before and in that dream, I was thinking of how to spend it.” It’s literally a dream come true!
9) In July of 2022, a man won a quarter of a million dollars after playing numbers that he saw in a dream. He won Virginia’s Bank a Million game, winning $250,000 dollars.
10) In May of 2022, a mother from Melton, Australia won 4.8 million from the lottery! A few years prior, her son had a dream that she would win the lottery a few years prior to it happening.
